Although I’m not religious, I can’t help but appreciate the messages of endurance and survival offered by both Pesach and Easter. Even in the Pagan tradition, we’ve made it through the long winter, and begun a new season of life.
This is a time to reflect on the hardships and tribulations we’ve undergone, and to celebrate the fact that we’ve continually pulled through. Like a phoenix rising from its ashes, we’ve got the ability to be resurrected and reborn, in incarnations even stronger than our earlier selves.
Tenacity, perseverance, and new chances…I can’t think of anything more deserving of a celebration.
